* Main Reason for Rules are safety. All
cars entered bust be safe!
* Vehicle must be free of all antifreeze.
Only exception is a pre-approved environmentally safe
antifreeze.
* Stock gas tank must be removed. An auxiliary
tank must be placed above rear axle or between the front
seat (left side) and rear axle. Tank must be of steel
or neoprene construction and not to exceed six (6) gallon
capacity. (Portable outboard tank is recommended). No
carry on gas cans are allowed for auxiliary tank.
* Auxiliary gas tank must be securely fastened.
* Fire shield must be placed between driver
and tank. Fire shield is a non-flammable material securely
fastened around tank, completely covering tank, to keep
gasoline from splashing on the driver if it should rupture.
* Any leakage of fuel will lead to immediate
disqualification of car.
* Electric fuel pumps are allowed if stand
for that make of vehicle. Electric fuel pumps must have
an on/off switch in the driver's reach.
* All glass must be removed from the car.
This includes mirrors, tail lights, headlights and windshield.
Any broken glass must be completely removed from auto.
Screen may be used in place of a windshield.
* Rolling down windows is not permitted.
GLASS AND DEBRIS MUST BE COMPLETELY REMOVED PRIOR TO COMING
TO THE EVENT.
* Safety goggles or shield must be worn
* Approved seat belt, shoulder harness,
and full helmet with chin strap are required. If no should
harness is available, a full face helmet is mandatory.
* Chrome moldings, antenna, sun visors,
and any dangerous objects must be removed.
* One horizontal bar may be placed behind
driver's seat, no larger than three (3) inches in diameter
from post-to-post, this is not mandatory.
* Only one (1) automobile type battery
is permitted and it may be located in any position in
the car. Battery must be securely fastened and covered.
* All cars must have brakes to enter
* It is recommended that all engine mounts
be chained, wired or welded down.
* Radiator and transmission cooler must
remain in original position or be removed.
* No blocked shocks, spring jacks, or shackles.
Car must have free suspension. Air shock lines must be
cut.
* Hood must be fastened down in 4 places.
(Chain must not exceed 1/4 inch diameter). No hood pins
or
bolts with washers can be used to fasten down hood or
trunk lid.
* Trunk lid must remain in original position
in trunk lid. Seams may be welded.
* Driver's door interior upholstery must
remain in-place or be suitably replaced.
* Driver's door may be reinforced. Reinforcement
may be achieved by way of using an appropriate roll bar
with care or must be made by one of these methods: Cement
in door, tow pieces of pipe (at least 3 inches in diameter)
across outside of door not to exceed 10 inches in front
of or behind door; or recommended method is steel place
1/8 inch thick and minimum of 16' in width welded or securely
bolted to outside door, not to exceed 9 inches in front
or behind door break. Center line of plate should be at
driver's hip height. All other doors must be securely
fastened by chain, wire, seatbelt, or welded. Approval
will be subject to officials discretion.
* Any added, replacing or covering rusted
sheet metal must be done with the same gauge of sheet
metal

*All doors must be securely fastened by
chain, wire, seatbelt or welded.
* Trailer hitch must be removed.
* No double or liquid filled tires allowed.
Tires must not exceed 15 inches or 6-plyC load range maximum.
Tire size must be visible. (Highlighted with chalk, paint,
etc). No studs or screws in rims to hold tires.
* All exhaust pipes must exit down or straight
up through the hood.
* Track officials have the right to disqualify
a car at anytime.
